A little escape from city life every now and again to explore the great outdoors of the UAE is what we’re all in need of, especially when treated to a luxury desert camping experience.
After the ease of movement restrictions in light of COVID-19, nomadic desert experience Nara Escape has reopened, with bookings taking place this week.
Open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday for reservations, travellers and families in small groups can head to the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve to take on a unique ‘safari experience’.
Along with uninterrupted views of the Arabian desert from the Nara campsite, guests can expect to tuck into a fusion menu, which includes local dishes such as corn-fed chicken shawarma, hummus and a seven-spiced beef kofta.
For dessert in the desert, Nara Escape serves up chocolate pie with matcha tea dough, coffee emulsion and a fruit salad with sweet spices syrup.
The fully-licensed camp will also have plenty of entertainment, including live music from an oud player, a fire show, volleyball, sand boarding and a movie under the stars.
For those looking to take a trip to the deserts of the UAE by themselves, we’ve put together the perfect guide for you right here.
For plenty more things to do in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, we’ve got you covered.
