Here’s how you can avail the free shuttle service between Abu Dhabi and Dubai airports

Etihad and Emirates customers can take advantage of the bus service

Have travel plans this summer? The flagship carriers for Abu Dhabi and Dubai, Etihad and Emirates, are running a free shuttle service between the two emirates for travellers with valid tickets for either airline.

Travellers residing in Abu Dhabi who book flights with Emirates, can take a free bus to Dubai International Airport.

While those living in Dubai with Etihad flight tickets, can take the free shuttle to Abu Dhabi.

Passengers with valid Etihad tickets can hop on the free shuttle for a ride to Abu Dhabi International Airport.

The one-way journey takes about 75 minutes.

The buses by Etihad run from the parking area behind New Safestway Supermarket on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, near Al Wasl Centre, to Abu Dhabi.

According to the schedule on Etihad’s website, buses leave from Dubai at 2.05am, 4.10am, 6.05am, 9.35am, 11.30am, 4.15pm, 5.20pm, 7.05pm, 8.55pm and 10.30pm.

The bus leaves from Abu Dhabi Airport to Dubai at 12.15am, 1.25am, 3.05am, 7.05am, 8.20am, 10.50am, 2.25pm, 8.25pm, 9.25pm and 10.10pm.

Make sure to book your seats on the free shuttle bus at least 24 hours in advance.

Emirates

Free shuttle service between Abu Dhabi and Dubai airports: Emirates bus

If you have a valid Emirates flight ticket, then you can make use of the free shuttle bus service by Emirates.

The bus from Abu Dhabi leaves from the front of the Emirates office on Corniche Road and drops passengers at Terminal 3 arrivals at Dubai International Airport.

You can get the shuttle from Dubai at Terminal 3 arrivals at Dubai International Airport, which will drop you at Abu Dhabi Airport.

The bus leaves from Abu Dhabi to Dubai leaves at 3am, 9.45am, 4.30pm and 11.00pm, while the bus from Dubai to Abu Dhabi leaves at 3am, 10am, 3pm, and 11pm.

Travellers wanting to use the free shuttle service by Emirates are advised to book a seat at least 48 hours in advance.
