UAE’s aerobatics team to fly over hospitals across the UAE

The three-day display is a message of gratitude to the country’s medical teams and staff

Al Fursan, the aerobatics team of the United Arab Emirates Air Force (UAEAF), is set to fly over hospitals across the UAE as a message of appreciation to the country’s medical teams and staff including doctors, nurses, paramedics, administrative and technical staff, who have been working round the clock to ensure public safety and health during the coronavirus pandemic.

The initiative is a message of gratitude by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

The display of gratitude will go on for three days and it kicks off today (Sunday June 21) in Abu Dhabi.

Between 5.30pm and 6.30pm, the aerobatics team will be flying over Al Rahba Hospital, Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Zayed Military Hospital, Emirates Humanitarian City, Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, and Al Ain Hospital in Al Ain.

Starting at 5.30pm tomorrow (Monday June 22) Al Fursan will fly over Al Dhafra Hospital in Madinat Zayed, and Tuesday June 23 will see the team take over the skies of Dubai flying over the Kuwait Hospital, as well as Al Kuwait Hospital in Sharjah.

In Ajman, Al Fursan will perform over the Sheikh Khalifa General Hospital, and in Umm Al Quwain they will fly over the Field Hospital.

Those in Ras Al Khaimah can catch the display over both Field Hospital and Ibrahim Bin Hamad Obaidullah Hospital, in Khorfakkan, they will display over Khorfakkan Hospital, and in Fujairah over Field Hospital and Masafi Hospital. All the displays will be from 5.30pm until 6pm.
