The beginning of the new school year is just around the corner and families across the UAE are preparing to send their children back to the classroom.
It’s set to be very different from when they began distance learning back in March, with enhanced safety measures across schools.
Social distancing and santisation are taken extremely seriously, and here GEMS Wellington Primary School shows how younger students are getting all the support they need following some key changes across all GEMS schools to keep them socially distanced, safe and secure.

For the younger children in Foundation and Year One there will be no more than 10 children in the classroom’s ‘safe bubble’, while for older pupils it will be a maximum of 15. This means more attention for students and chances to socialise with their peers.
GEMS Wellington Primary School emphasises that it’s not just about learning, it’s about communication, development and having fun with friends as well.
