At screens across Abu Dhabi and Dubai there are some film fans who just can’t hack the poor phone etiquette and conversations some of the other people watching.
But being part of a collective audience, with all the gasps, laughter and cheers at the end (why?) is something that moviegoers love to be part of.
But VOX Cinemas could have the answer and be COVID-19 safe at the same time.
Private screenings are now available for groups of up to ten people at cinemas at The Galleria Al Maryah Island and Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi and Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Deira and Nakheel Mall in Dubai.
It costs Dhs450, so if you take ten people that’s Dhs45 per person. You’ll need to book in advance.
Films showing now now include Tenet, Mulan, The New Mutants and more.
