Abu Dhabi’s spas and desert safaris and camps can now reopen

New health and safety guidelines issued

Spas and desert safari experiences have been issued with guidelines for resuming in Abu Dhabi.

If you need to seriously relax with a treatment or want to spend the night in the dunes then you’re in luck.

Spas at five star hotels are permitted to reopen if adhering to a strict set of guidelines.

Among the guidelines all staff must undergo regular testing for COVID-19, precautionary guidelines must be clearly displayed, thermal cameras installed, screening of all visitors for temperatures and symptoms and more.

All guests must wear a mask at all times, staff must wear full PPE including face shields, all apparatus must be santisied after each use and all appointments must be scheduled in advance.

Abu Dhabi’s desert safaris and tourism camps have also been given permission to resume.

Among the measures introduced are mandatory temperature screenings, COVID-19 testing for staff and screening of all guests and visitors for symptoms.

Regular disinfection of all facilities and equipment is also required including vehicles, sand boards, horse and camel saddles and more.
