Everything you need to know about Tough Mudder returning to the UAE

Ras Al Khaimah will host the event for the first time

One of the toughest (and muckiest) obstacle races in the UAE is setting up for its 2020 edition, and discounted early bird tickets are now up for grabs.

Tough Mudder is back, and for the first time it will be held at the Mina Al Arab in Ras Al Khaimah. Beware of getting stuck in the mud…

Taking place on Friday November 20, there will be both the ‘Classic Tough Mudder 10km’ course and the ‘Tough Mudder 5km’ course route mudders can take on.

Expect the return of its signature obstacles including the Pyramid, Mud Mile and gruelling Everest 2.0 to power through.

Already know you want to be there? Until Wednesday September 30, participants can get a nifty $25 (around Dhs90) off their tickets, using the promo code GIVEME25. Fitting.

Full price the 10km course will set you back $109 (around Dhs400), while the 5km course is priced at $89 (around Dhs325).

The Jeep Tough Mudder will be following strict COVID-19 guidelines, with rules including all participants wearing facemasks, two-meter social distancing rules and avoid gathering in large crowds.

“Obstacle course race fans and outdoor adventure and fitness enthusiasts will be happy to know that we’ve managed to make the Tough Mudder course work following the strict COVID-19 guidelines, so they can have some fitness fun whilst enjoying the great outdoors,” said organiser Sabco Sports’s Nic Cartwright.

That’s not the only obstacle race taking place in the UAE, as the Desert Warrior Challenge is coming to Dubai next year. Find out more here.
