You read that correctly, Art Dubai is coming to Abu Dhabi.
The 14th edition of the event was meant to take place in March 2020 but did not go ahead due to COVID-19.
But the annual art fair has announced its dates for 2021 and it will take place between Wednesday March 17 and Tuesday March 23, 2021.
With a new format, the event, which is made up of separate events that fall under the Art Dubai umbrella title, will be take place across the UAE, with some parts happening at Jameel Arts Centre, Sharjah Art Foundation and Warehouse 421 here in the capital.
“With the anticipation of a renewed art season in the coming year, coinciding with the UAE’s Golden Jubilee celebrations of the country’s 50th anniversary, such cultural partnerships aim to reflect the unique qualities of the milieu Art Dubai takes place in: ambitiously international, culturally dynamic and forward looking,” said a statement from Art Dubai.
