Abu Dhabi students in Year 7 and higher to continue remote learning

Some have the option to return to in-school learning 

Many Abu Dhabi students are to continue distance learning.

Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee announced that Year 7 and above will continue remote learning and will not return to school.

Students in Year 10 to Year 13 will be given the option to return to school who will be sitting exams this year and are concerned about university placements.

Many Abu Dhabi students returned to school on Sunday August 30.

Students from KG1 to Grade 5/Year 6 have returned and older students were epected to return after four weeks.

Remote learning will continue to be offered to all students for the first term.

Schools operate on five different models balancing in-classroom and online learning options whilst adhering to strict safety guidelines.

They include full face-to-face learning, half-day face-to-face learning, alternating days, alternating weeks and a hybrid model.

All teachers and staff are required to get a COVID-19 test, as are students over the age of 12.

Schools in Abu Dhabi could be closed if there are suspected COVID-19 cases detected.
