Abu Dhabi now has an owl café. That’s right, a café where you can mingle with owls while you sip on your latte.
Take a trip to Japan and you’ll find all sorts of themed cafes with animals inside such as puppies, kittens, reptiles and more.
They’re not so common here in Abu Dhabi, and around the world they often are met with protest from animal rights activists.
But now Boomah has opened up shop in the UAE capital and can lay claim to being the region’s first owl café.
It’s at Al Seef Village Mall and the nine different owls are behind a glass window. You can buy a ticket to hold them for Dhs70.
