Star Wars fans in the UAE can now watch the second series of the highly-acclaimed The Mandalorian.
Last October, Star Wars fans were treated to a new chapter in the saga in the form of the live action show The Mandalorian and now there’s more.
Streaming now on OSN as part of the Disney+ Originals partnership, there are eight episodes in total, which will air in the UAE at the same time as in the US over the next two months.
At a pace of one episode per week, over a period of two months, Star Wars lovers are set to be entertained with more suspense, more cuteness (we want our very own baby Yoda) and more of the Force-wielding 50-year-old toddler in the follow-up series.
For those who haven’t seen the first series of The Mandalorian, it takes place in the Star Wars universe, set five years after the fall of the Galactic Empire in Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.
Lawlessness has spread throughout the galaxy, and a lone gunfighter (Pedro Pascal) makes his way through the outer reaches, earning his keep as a bounty hunter. While on the job, he stumbles upon a mysterious being, which questions his morals as a Mandalorian.
Expect some of the best gun-toting action and showdowns sci-fi has to offer, plenty of Star Wars nods and some hilarious quips, with famed director Taika Waititi on board.
In series two, the story continues for The Mandalorian and the child as they continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire.
Worth watching it is.
