Abu Dhabi announces new bus routes and services

New routes and increased frequency across the emirate

Abu Dhabi has new bus routes and services.

The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) of the Department of Municipalities and Transport have announced enhancements to bus services in Abu Dhabi, Al Dhafra and Al Ain.

New services and changes have been introduced to ‘improve the quality of services offered and create an integrated and sustainable public transport network’.

The new routes and changes to services have been introduced after an extensive study of the bus services to improve connectivity and in response to public demand.

New services have been introduced between Mohamed Bin Zayed City and Al Zahiyah and between Abu Dhabi Bus Station and Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival in Al Wathba.

Services A1 and A2 have increased frequency to every 60 minutes and service 111 in Musaffah has been extended to link more areas with Abu Dhabi city.

The frequency of bus routes 160, 161, 401, 406, A1, A2, A10, A20, B43, M01, M02, M03, M04 and M05 have also been increased.

In Al Ain, improvements have also been made to the 350, 360, 375, 380, 390, 450, 460, 491, 495, 496, 550, 560, 590, 595, 901, 902, 941 and 991 routes.

In Al Dhafra new services have been introduced between Mirfa Souq, Hbshan and Al Dhafra Mall and between Ghayathi and Al Madina.

All buses in Abu Dhabi have strict safety measures and are regularly disinfected to ensure the safety of all passengers.
