Burgers are brilliant and in Abu Dhabi there is no shortage of great places to go and sink your teeth into one.
Offering something a little bit different, a local restauranteur has launch a brand new concept in the UAE capital.
Grillzy Burgers and Buns is a delivery-only joint launched by Sergio Lopez, the man behind Sanderson’s in Abu Dhabi, The Pangolin in Dubai, and formerly the Serg in Tom and Serg, though he’s no longer part of that set up.
On the menu are options including the Get Down, with Peri-Peri grilled chicken, guacamole and jalapenos, the Truffle Shuffle wagyu beef burger with cheese and truffle oil, the Swamp Dog Blues with oat fried chicken, white sauce, crispy shallots, lettuce and tomatoes and the #YumGood a vegetarian option with a mushroom patty with mozzarella, lettuce and shallots.
If you’re looking for something more traditional there’s also the From Down Under burger with a beef patty, grilled onion, lettuce, beetroot, beef bacon and cheese.
Side dishes include fries, curly fries, sweet potato fries and doughnut-like buns filled with cherry, honey custard or chocolate, caramel and custard.
“We have created Grillzy Burgers & Buns, because we saw a demand from our customers for more gourmet burgers,” said Lopez.
“We had comments from our patrons looking for awesome, simple tasty burgers and we decided to create something unique to Abu Dhabi and give them just that.
“This simple menu will satisfy anyone’s burger craving. Paired with our fun buns and you can’t go wrong.”
