When it comes to meals, the best is always saved for last: dessert.
As part of Abu Dhabi Culinary Season, here at Time Out Abu Dhabi we’ve partnered with more than 40 restaurants, bars, cafés and lounges across the capital to bring you Sweetest Things.
Until Saturday November 28 there will be mouth-watering desserts available at some of the city’s very best places for desserts.
From coffee and cake deals at the capital’s trendy coffee shops to discounted desserts in high-end restaurants and loads more in malls across the city, there will be loads of options to try.

It’s part of the overall Abu Dhabi Culinary Season from the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi which includes a variety of promotions across the capital, including Yas Flavors (a series of special set menus on Yas Island) and Chef’s Studio, a pop-up cooking school running in December.
Here are the dishes you can try on Yas Island and Saadiyat Island.
Amerigos
A funky Mexican restaurant on Yas Island, Amerigos is offering its homemade churros with a hot cappuccino for Dhs62.

Chocomelt
The cool café and dessert bar is offering 25 percent off two of its most delicious desserts, the maple cinnamon roll, which is topped with a maple cheesey sauce and caramelised pecan nuts and served with date and toffee sauce (making it Dhs34) and the popcorn mountain, a milk chocolate cake with popcorn sauce and Oreo crumbs (making it Dhs36).

Fouquet’s
For Sweetest Things, the high-end French restaurant, with a menu from legendary chef Pierre Gagniere is serving its signature millefeuille dessert with a hot drink thrown in for free every afternoon the venue is open.

Sama
The pretty lobby lounge at Saadiyat Rotana is offering a free speciality coffee with its homemade date cheesecake.

Stars N Bars
With a new menu in place, the sports bar is showcasing one of its latest desserts, the taco platter –featuring strawberry cheesecake and chocolate smores versions.

A top spot for classic British grub, it doesn’t come more traditional than sticky toffee pudding. For Sweetest Things you’ll get a free glass of bubbly when you order one.
