Abu Dhabi Art has opened a virtual fair and here’s what you can see

A total of 68 galleries from 200 artists from around the world

Abu Dhabi Art is one of the biggest cultural events of the year in the UAE capital.

Bringing international and local artist together to cross cultural and creative borders, the annual event is a showcase and a bridge to the arts for many in the UAE.

This year, due to COVID-19, the event is digital-only, yet is still offering cultural experiences, exhibitions and opportunities for residents to connect with art.

Organised by The Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT Abu Dhabi), Abu Dhabi Art has launched a virtual fair until November 26 where you can see 68 galleries and works from more than 200 artists from across the globe.

Highlights of the art fair this year include Modern and Contemporary a collection of 37 galleries, The Day After a sector dedicated to African art, Material Real with contemporary art from South Korea, India Today a presentation of works from the subcontinent, Beyond: Emerging Artists showcasing up-and-coming Emirati artists and much more Closer to home, A Picture Held By Us showcases five galleries by artists based in the UAE.

“The fair is a key element within DCT Abu Dhabi’s strategy of placing culture at the centre of the emirate’s development and a testament to our long-term commitment to developing a creative and artistically conscious city.”
