National Day and Commemoration Day is to be celebrated in the UAE from December 1 to 3.
A three-day public holiday has been announced and some workers in the UAE will enjoy a five-day weekend.
Official celebrations have been announced but will be streamed across the country this year to ensure public safety.
Seeds of the Nation, will also be shown at some Vox Cinemas locations for free.
Marking the occasion of Commemoration and National Day, The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) of the Department of Municipalities and Transport in Abu Dhabi has announced free parking this week.
All parking spaces in the city will be free of charge from Tuesday December 1 until 8am on Saturday December 5.
ITC have urged the public not to park their vehicles in prohibited areas and not to block traffic flow and only use provided parking spaces.
In addition, public buses in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain will run on the same schedule for Fridays and public holidays from December 1 to 5.
