The festive season is finally here, and we can’t wait to enjoy all the festive goings on around the city.
This year, Yas Plaza Hotels, which includes Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi – Yas Island, Radisson Blu Hotel Abu Dhabi Yas Island and Yas Island Rotana, are pulling out all the stops.
Head to any of these hotels this month and you’ll be greeted by huge Christmas trees and amazing gingerbread house displays that are bound to mesmerise your little ones.
If you’re looking for the perfect spot for Christmas Eve, there are plenty of options for you to choose from.
Jing Asia will be putting on a special family package between 7pm and 11pm, with prices starting from Dhs390 for a family of four.
Amerigos will be serving up typical Mexican street food, with the Mercadito evening brunch and soft drinks setting you back Dhs179, or Dhs279 with house beverages. Plus, meat lovers can enjoy a three-course meal at steakhouse Blue Grill for Dhs240.

Filini Garden is hosting a brunch with a Christmas twist, complete with a live saxophonist who will be playing the best festive tunes. The house beverage package for the brunch, which runs from 12.30pm until 3.30pm, will set you back just Dhs289 per person. And if you’re looking for a traditional British roast dinner this holiday season, Belgian Café will be dishing out turkey, chicken and slow roast beef plus all the trimmings on Christmas Day. The all-you-can-eat roast is Dhs129 per person, or Dhs199 with a house beverage, and runs between 1pm and 4pm. Sounds delicious.

Fans of 80s, 90s and 00s music will want to head to Stills’ Back to the Future party, where you can expect to see plenty of iconic costumes while listening to the best vintage music going. The bubbly package starts from Dhs120.
Y Bar will be hosting a New Year’s Eve party too, with prices starting at Dhs799 for a table of four including three hours of house beverages and bar snacks.
There’s also a special dinner under the stars to see in 2021 at Choices and Rangoli, which will have international dishes, a barbecue and live music, with a firework display at midnight. Packages start at Dhs289 and festivities run from 7pm until 1am at the Yas Island Rotana venues.
There’s also fun to be had at Filini Garden, which is hosting a decade-themed party with Italian dishes and music from DJ Cliff Townley and a saxophonist Milan. The event starts at 6pm and packages are Dhs259 for soft drinks and Dhs359 with house drinks. A poolside Mexican party is also taking place at Amerigos from 7pm to 1pm, with Latino sounds from Rosa and DJ Dan Sugafed. Packages start at Dhs259 and kids from six to 11 years old are Dhs129.
