Welcome September with another epic UAE petrol price decrease

Good news, filling up your tank will be lighter on your pocket this month

Gear up to hit the road with more ease, because you’ll be paying less at the pumps this month thanks to another UAE petrol price decrease. Hooray. 

Following the petrol drop during August, September kicks off with welcomed UAE petrol price decreases across the board. So, how much will you score on savings this month?

E-plus 91 is most budget-friendly this month, standing at Dhs3.22 per litre, compared to Dhs3.84 per litre during August. 

Super 98 petrol has decreased to Dhs3.41 per litre, a drop from Dhs4.03, while Special 95 will drop from Dhs3.92 to Dhs3.30 per litre.

While diesel is still the priciest choice of fuel, you’ll be glad to know that it’s decreased to Dhs3.87 per litre, compared to last month’s Dhs4.14 per litre. 

UAE petrol price decrease

While prices aren’t as low as they were back in March (E-Plus was Dhs2.75 per litre, Special 95 was Dhs2.94 per litre, Super 98 was Dhs2.94 per litre and diesel was priced at Dhs2.88), it’s still positive that we’ve had another UAE petrol price decrease.

The official page for Emirates General Petroleum Corporation – Emarat, shared the update. As part of the announcement, an infographic was posted on the micro-blogging site which detailed the prices.
