Five more top names revealed for Time Out Market Dubai

From authentic Japanese street food and the tastiest smoked meats to cutting-edge vegan dishes

Hang on to your hats, Time Out Market Dubai’s opening date is creeping closer and we’re hugely excited to reveal the next all-star names on the culinary line-up.

Time Out Market Dubai will be opening in early 2021 in Souk Al Bahar in Downtown Dubai with the best foodie names in the city in the kitchens.

And today we can reveal the next five names in the line-up.

Little Erth by Nabz&G

This cool vegan-friendly café in JLT is a hotspot for plant-based food fans in Dubai. Best known for dishes including raw vegan mango wraps, zesty spaghetti and summer rolls, the café also does a vegan take on Middle Eastern dishes including shawarma. The team prides itself on health-conscious, inventive and fun vegan dishes.

Reif Japanese Kushiyaki

A household name in Dubai after heading up the kitchens of many award-winning restaurants – including Zuma and PLAY – Reif Othman is now out on his own with this hugely popular eatery. Much loved for its silky smooth ramen and tasty kushiyaki skewers, Reif Japanese Kushiyaki is a top spot for casual dining featuring dishes bursting with flavour.

Scoopi Café

This dessert café is known for its innovative ice creams, chilled with liquid nitrogen. The Black Diamond is famed for being the most expensive ice cream in the city – made with Italian truffles, Iranian saffron and finished with 23-karat gold, so get ready for a stellar sweet experience.

Local Fire by The Mattar Farm

You’ll know this smoked meat powerhouse from pop-ups around the city. Hattem Mattar is the top pitmaster of Dubai and now his super-tasty barbecue dishes are coming to Time Out Market Dubai. Expect pastrami sandwiches, smoked turkey and even oysters at the weekends.

Two leaves by Project Chaiwala

This teahouse rose to popularity through an outlet at indie playhouse Cinema Akil. Loved for its chilli cheese toasties and, of course, traditionally made chai, we can’t wait to see it in the market. The team’s sweet tea mixed with delicious spices such as cardamom and ginger, is the perfect partner to its super smashmosas.

These latest additions will join the eight previously announced concepts including MASTI, BB Social Dining, folly by Nick & Scott as part of Gates Hospitality, Vietnamese Foodies, Pickl, Pitfire, Brix and Nightjar.

Opening in Downtown Dubai in early 2021, Time Out Market Dubai will house the best of the city under one roof, from restaurants to cultural experiences, and from its Souk Al Bahar location will boast fantastic views to boot. There will be three bars and a magnificent outdoor terrace.

The 43,000 sq ft venue will overlook The Dubai Fountain, Burj Khalifa and The Dubai Mall and the Market has been curated by Time Out Dubai’s editorial team. It will be the seventh Time Out Market globally, following in the footsteps of Lisbon, New York, Miami, Chicago, Boston and Montreal.

Stay tuned to timeoutdubai.com to find out who else will form the Market’s brilliant offering – and to find out exactly what all 17 vendors will be serving up.
