4 food trucks to try in Jeddah

From bao buns to burgers, check out these roaming restaurants

Jeddah is a buzzing city where people are constantly on the go, so it makes sense that food trucks have started to rival the city’s bricks-and-mortar restaurants.

These hugely popular meals on wheels serve up top-notch food that, as an added bonus, won’t blow the budget.

And the best way to track them down? Simple, just follow them on Instagram.

Here’s where to find the best food trucks in Jeddah.

Eat Kitchen Jeddah

This truck has a full team of on-site chefs who whip up food to go and also provide full on catering for big functions. Oh, and they share their top recipes on the truck’s Instagram too. You can get a huge choice of food here from healthy light bites to grilled meats to sweet treats.

Khalti Nourah

Can’t decide what you fancy? Then this food truck has all the answers with a menu reads like a United Nations of food. Want Malaysian noodles? They’ve got them, Fancy an Italian panini? No problem. French dessert? Bien sûr. We aren’t sure how they cover such extensive selection of global cuisine, they just do. And they do it really well.

The Burger Truck

Burgers from a food truck always, generically-speaking, taste so much better in our opinion. That said, we reckon the burgers whipped up by The Burger Truck would taste divine no matter where they were served up. All super fresh, super juicy and super delicious. If you’re going for a burger, try the Volcano, if not there are plenty of other moreish American bites to sink your teeth into such as chicken tenders. But really, it’s meaty patties with oodles of melted cheese that you should be ordering here.

X Bite

You can often find this funky sleek, silver truck parked up The Beach. The burgers are juicy and perfectly cooked with special sauces that give them an edge over their competitors. Single patties, double patties and chicken burgers are all on the menu, as are a local favourite, the chicken popcorn. Plus, if you can’t get out for whatever reason, you can order their barbecue kits in, which contain everything you need to make your own X Bite burgers at home from scratch.
