Just like that 2021 is here and there’s lots to look forward to as the year rolls on.
Offering more reasons to visit, Al Maryah Island has revealed plans to open new recreational, leisure and entertainment facilities across the island in 2021.
New attractions are set to open on the north and south of the island in the coming months.
On the north side of the island new sporting facilities are set to open, including four tennis courts, three full-size football pitches, an air conditioned sports dome and other fitness and sporting facilities.
The area will also see improved pedestrian and vehicular access as well as an on-site bus stop and taxi stands to improve transport to and from the island.
At the ADGM south plaza, within the four towers, new outdoor seating, smart light poles and artworks are set to be revealed to improve the area for residents and employees who work in the area.
In addition, the south garden area and highline park will connect with The Galleria Al Maryah Island’s garden parks offering more recreational areas for children and colourful pedestrian crossings.
