Louvre Abu Dhabi launches yoga sessions under the dome from January 10

Enjoy a stretching session in an iconic destination

Louvre Abu Dhabi has announced that yoga classes at the iconic museum will start this month.

From January 10 you will be able to book a one-hour yoga session on Saadiyat Island, beneath the dome of the museum.

The 75-minute sessions will take place on Sundays and Tuesdays at 10.15am and 5pm and are open to all people over the age of 15, including beginners and experienced yogis.

A maximum of 20 people can take part in a class, with strict social distancing in place and everyone must wear a mask.

You’ll also need to bring your own yoga mat, water bottle and towel.

Sessions cost Dhs90 per person, but that includes entry to the museum’s permanent collection as well as the class, which means you’ll get a spot of culture with your stretching.
