Heroes
Some venues have stood the test of time and Heroes is one of those. We couldn’t tell you how many times we’ve been to this veteran Abu Dhabi pub. From post-brunch parties to a quick drink and catch up with a mate and from singing along to the International Playboys to watching a game of footy, this is one place that’s good for most occasions. The menu is filled with pub grub classics, and after a long day in the office some old-fashioned comfort food seems like a good idea.

Everyone loves an Irish pub, and McGettigan’s is a popular name across the UAE. And with good reason as it’s consistent. You know what you’re going to get when it comes to a lively vibe, solid pub grub and friendly service. Throw in some live music and happy hour deals and you can’t go wrong.

PJ O’Reilly’s
If you Picked up PJ’s and dropped it anywhere in the UK or Ireland it wouldn’t look at all out of place. That’s a compliment, because it’s not easy to replicate the atmosphere and feel of a classic pub. It’s inviting, unpretentious and we’re all-in, after all it picked up our Pub of the Year 2019 award. The food is reminiscent of British pubs, and what it lacks in presentation it makes up for with massive portions that remind us of family dinners.
