Air Arabia resumes daily flights to Doha

First UAE airline to announce services since signing of Al Ula Accord

Air Arabia will run flights between the UAE and Qatar as of next week, becoming the UAE first airline to announce services between the two countries since the signing of the Al Ula Accord.

Travel between the UAE and Qatar ceased on June 5, 2017.

But flights are poised to resume between Sharjah and the Qatari capital of Doha from Monday January 18.

The move follows the UAE’s announcement that airports and airspace were to open to Qatar after the states agreed to resume ties following a GCC-wide leadership summit.

Flights will depart daily from Sharjah at 4.10pm, leaving Doha in the other direction at 5.10pm, local time.
