Looking for somewhere to don your lederhosen and dirndl outfits this month? Oktoberfest at GLO promises to be an absolute hoot. The buzzy Abu Dhabi bar is celebrating the popular festival until Monday, October 17 with a variety of Bavarian activities that are not to be missed.
Located at the breathtaking rooftop bar of the Rosewood Abu Dhabi, Oktoberfest at GLO features a Bavarian-inspired menu specially curated by the in-house culinary team. Enjoy a selection of meaty bites and refreshing hops at the gorgeous open air venue on a balmy Arabian evening.
Watch the magnificent sunset behind the Abu Dhabi skyline with your friends and family and dive right into the delicious variety of German hops that are designed to be paired with the menu.
Using the finest European ingredients, dishes include hand-pulled beef knuckle sandwiches, beef Bavarian sausages and rotisserie chicken, all served with apple sauerkraut and mustard, salted soft pretzels, as well as other Bavarian specialties including egg noodle dish spätzle, cheesy obatza and herb-studded gurkensalat (that’s cucumber to you and us).
Of course, no European feast would be complete without a mouthwatering side order of sweet and butter apple crumble.
In a food coma? You need to dance. Luckily, GLO’s Oktoberfest celebrations feature a live Bavarian band to keep you on your feet all night long. HB-PARTYBAND will be on-hand to get you onto the dance floor so you can show off your best schuhplattler (the traditional Bavarian folk dance, keep up!)
