99 Sushi Bar and restaurant unleashes exciting new menu and brunch in the UAE

Get on a roll

Food, glorious food. We spend most days thinking and writing about it and when we’re not doing that the rest of the time we’re eating it, with gusto.

Luckily, we take a big bite out of the best food in the UAE every single year.

Some venues are chic and classy and others serve incredible food and don’t worry about the ambience.

Then there are some restaurants that hit the mark on both: stunning venues serving some of the best dishes around.

Right up there, ticking all the boxes, 99 Sushi Bar and Restaurant has it all.

With venues in Dubai and Abu Dhabi the restaurant is known for serving up some of the best Japanese food in town in a sophisticated setting.

Shaking things up, the popular restaurant has introduced a brand-new menu and brunch to keep us all on our toes.

The new 12-course Zeitaku brunch, taking place every Friday from 1pm to 5pm, has introduced a host of new dishes.

Starters include Kobe edamame, tuna pizza and more, new mains include king crab au gratin, butterfish nigiri with truffle, salmon flambé nigiri with lime and grilled foie gras nigiri with raspberry and tare sauce.

Topping things off you can also tuck into mocha ice cream.

Packages start from Dhs399 for soft drinks, Dhs499 with bubbly and Dhs999 for premium beverages.

Serving up a little more excitement the à la carte menu has also experienced a shake up.

New dishes include oysters with yozu foam, Japanese taco with toro and smoked bacon, Atlantic blue lobster tempura, Australian wagyu flambe nigari and more.

“Inspired by fresh seasonal flavours, our new menus redefine traditional Japanese cuisine,” said Jaime Castaneda, general director at 99 Sushi Bar Ltd.

“We are so excited to introduce our new menu and bring these new dishes to our Dubai and Abu Dhabi venues and hope our guests enjoy them as much as we did creating them.”

We can’t lie, we’re hungry, we’ll have one of everything, thanks.
