Loved-up, sushi-loving couple? Get ready to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a helping of raw fish.
99 Sushi Bar – one of the best restaurants in Abu Dhabi (and that’s official – the super-stylish restaurant is a Time Out Abu Dhabi Restaurant Awards winner) and one of Dubai’s newest hotspots – has launched a bespoke 11-course sharing menu just for Valentine’s Day.
While you’re not declaring your love, you can indulge in some superb Japanese fare – highlights on the fresh menu include hosomaki served with chūtoro tuna, edamame tossed in wagyu fat, lobster maki with wakame and yuzu, black cod infused with red miso, langoustine nigiri and toro flambé nigiri topped with Kaluga caviar.
The extravagant feast ends with an East Asia-meets-Middle East dessert: yuzu cheesecake served with kunafa ice cream.
Paired with a bottle of bubby, the special Valentine’s Day menu comes in at Dhs1,299 per couple.
