With the updated COVID-19 protocols on the Al Hosn app, users will lose their green status after 30 days and it will turn to grey. To maintain green status, users will still need a negative PCR test result received at least every 30 days.
Those who are unvaccinated will need a negative PCR test every seven days to keep a green status on the Al Hosn app.
Face mask rules were also eased, and are now “optional for all other open and closed facilities and places.”
All food service providers, as well as those who have had COVID-19 symptoms, will be required to wear face masks at all times.
