New year (when does it become unacceptable to keep on saying this?), new hotel?
Oman is getting a brand-new hotel and we can’t wait.
Located in the coastal area of Bandar Jissah, between the striking Al Hajar Mountains and the Gulf of Oman, Jumeirah Muscat Bay is promising a tranquil escape away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The hotly-anticipated resort is just a quick 15-minute journey from the south of Muscat’s city centre and 40 minutes from Muscat International Airport and the soon-to-open hotel will be home to 206 spacious rooms, a state-of-the-art Talise Spa complete with luxurious treatment rooms, and a number of bars and restaurants.
Travelling with the little ones in tow? The dedicated kids’ club will have a programme of daily activities to help keep the kiddies busy and fitness enthusiasts can explore the beautiful coastline through a dive centre as well as a range of other watersports.
The hotel is currently under development and is set to open sometime this year – watch this space for updates.
