Flights between the UAE and Denmark have resumed

You can now travel to Denmark from the UAE

Travel has been a little chaotic for the past year but that doesn’t mean you have to stay at home and fulfil your wanderlust reading books and watching movies.

The UAE has regular flights to destinations around the world and has been welcoming tourists to the country since last summer.

Offering more options for travellers, a European country has resumed flights to the UAE.

Denmark has lifted the temporary suspension of flights from the Emirates.

For those planning a trip to Denmark, a negative PCR from the past 24 hours is required on arrival followed by a quarantine period of ten days.

“The UAE appreciates steps by Danish authorities to implement measures that strengthen broader international efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Ambassador Fatima Khamis Salem Khalfan Almazrouei, UAE Ambassador to Denmark.

“UAE authorities have worked closely with their Danish counterparts in this regard and remain committed to exchanging information and best practices in the shared global fight against the virus.”

Abu Dhabi has a green list of countries from where in-bound travellers do not need to quarantine on arrival.

The list of countries, which currently includes Australia, China, New Zealand and Singapore, is updated fortnightly.
