All Sharjah schools and nurseries to have distance learning until end of the month

Students to remain at home in Umm Al Quwain and Ajman, too

All students in Sharjah are to have distance learning until the end of the month.

The Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) announced that all schools and nurseries are to shift to remote learning until the end of the month.

Effective until Sunday February 28, students are not to attend schools and nurseries in the emirate.

The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and protect public health.

Ajman has also shifted to distance learning according to the Ministry of Education.

And all students in Umm Al Quwain will be doing e-learning, too.

In Abu Dhabi, all teachers, staff and pupils are set to return to schools from today (Sunday February 14), while remote learning will continue to be offered to students until the end of the academic year.
