Warehouse 421 Abu Dhabi launches new Arab film programme with Cinema Akil

See some top flicks at the art hub

Film is so vast and varied that you could watch a movie a day for the rest of your life and barely scratch the surface.

Big blockbusters and box office smash hits are all well and good, and we enjoy them, but there’s something more enjoyable about seeing something a little different, something more independent and lesser-known on the big screen.

We’re not sure what it is about the communal watching of films we love so much but you just can’t beat the cinema experience, whatever you’re watching.

Offering you the chance to see some top Arab films that may not be on your radar, a new programme has launched in Abu Dhabi.

In partnership with Cinema Akil, Warehouse 421 has announced a new line up in the Arab film programme Blessed Be The Searchers.

Starting on Wednesday February 24, the diverse schedule of films will see six different films screened over three weeks digitally.

Each film will be shown for a week and aree free to view from your own home through the Warehouse 421 website.

Across the programme films that will be shown, in order, include You Will Die at Twenty, Ward’s Henna Party, Last Visit, Clouds, Sunday at Five and 200 Meters.
Tickets are available to reserve now by visiting www.waqrehouse421.ae.
