Laughter Factory plans comedy home invasion

Time to Zoom in

Home invasions aren’t a laughing matter – unless you’re a comedian, of course.

And a comic raid on living rooms is fast-approaching with the announcement of the Laughter Factory’s first ever Zoom-based comedy show.

We all got plenty familiar with the video-call platform last year, and now it’s the main stage for four stand-up specialists hoping to leave audiences with split sides in the comfort of their own home.

The show is scheduled for Thursday March 11 at 9pm, and tickets are Dhs100 per device.

On the bill is star of stage and screen, Danny O’Brien, who has become a master of Zoom gigs during 2020.

As the resident host and owner of The Comedy Crunch in Dublin, one of Ireland’s most successful comedy clubs, his friendly, high energy and anecdotal style draws in an audience and brings on the big laughs.

Another Zoom hero, Damian Clark, is the Laughter Factory’s favourite Aussie and is also dialing into screens near you soon. His past two Edinburgh Fringe shows received total sell out runs and reviews were nothing but overwhelming praise.

George Zach is one of the most well-travelled comedians on the globe.

This Greek comedy sensation isn’t afraid to cross comedy boundaries and has a show that reaches many different audiences.

And finally, Laughter Factory royalty Stephen Grant, never fails to make people laugh and is a regular headliner at The Comedy Store in Leicester Square.
