Design & Dine is back for a Ramadan special

Create an Arabic calligraphy masterpiece at this artsy Abu Dhabi event

Paintbrushes at the ready – Abu Dhabi’s popular Design & Dine is back this month for a Ramadan special.

The special Ramadan event will be held at The Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort & Spa on Thursday April 22 between 7pm and 10pm and wannabe artists can enjoy an evening of tasty bites, all while creating a unique piece of art.

For this edition, you’ll be able to create your very own customised painting using your favourite colour scheme and choice of Arabic calligraphy with options including Ramadan Kareem, Love, Hope, Peace, and Friendship.

The arty event is aimed at complete beginners and the Design & Dine pros will be on hand throughout to help guide you step-by-step, offering expert tips and advice along the way.

Prices for the evening start from Dhs310 per person with unlimited soft drinks and a buffet spread, and the price also includes aprons and all the required painting materials – all you need to bring in yourself and some creative flair.

Food-wise, budding artists can expect a spread of international dishes, Ramadan specialities, live cooking stations, roasted and grilled meats, plus a wide selection of cheeses from all over the world.

If you have a sweet tooth, save space for desserts and tuck into homemade chocolates, sweets, cakes, made-to-order crêpes, ice cream, and sorbets.

Indoor and outdoor seating will be available and if the weather permits, al fresco dining is always is top choice thanks to the stunning golf course views.
