Mohamed Ramadan signs up for Free Fire

Star will be announced in Burj Khalifa lights show

Ready for another explosion in Garena Free Fire?

Acting and singing megastar Mohamed Ramadan is joining the battle royale game, which sees more than 100 million active daily users.

Known as Maro, Ramadan will be the game’s first playable Arab character and will become active for duty from Friday April 16.

Players in the Middle East will be able to play as the Egyptian superstar until Saturday May 15 by collecting tokens with every completed mission.

That’s of course after surviving on an island where 50 other players are trying to eliminate each other with a host of various medium and large weapons and grenades.

But how do you announce such a major fire cracker? Via the world’s tallest building of course.

The big reveal will take place at a special ceremony that will see the Burj Khalifa lit up by two memorising lights shows on Wednesday April 14 between 7.10pm and 9.10pm.

Included in the demonstrations will be a one minute video announcement produced by ITP Media Group.

And before Ramadan loads up to take on all comers in the Free Fire universe, he will be hosting a special reception and iftar at the terrace of The Address Downtown.

Free Fire can be downloaded on both the Apple iOS App and Google Play store.
