99 Sushi Bar & Restaurant

Serving exquisite Japanese food in a stunning venue, 99 Sushi Bar & Restaurant is one of the very best venues in Abu Dhabi for a special meal out. The space itself is incredibly impressive, from the water feature outside to the dimly lit bar area and the super-cool dining room. From the décor to the service to the menu, the attention to detail is second to none and the authentic, beautifully presented Japanese dishes are legit.

Bentley Kitchen

This cool restaurant serves up a creative take on European dining with dishes inspired by French cuisine, but there are also other magnificent dishes from around the world and meat lovers are definitely well catered for (the steaks and grills are superb). The outdoor area also provides the perfect position for Al Maryah Island sunset viewing and a meal here has it all.

Whether you love the lively Friday brunch, beautiful sushi, or Peruvian specialities, COYA Abu Dhabi is up there on most people’s lists of favourite places to eat in the capital. Nusr-Et

Turkish steakhouse Nusr-Et is one of the most popular places in Abu Dhabi thanks to its super steaks and eponymous chef’s #SaltBae persona. The excellent (and perfectly seasoned) meat cuts are worth visiting for any time with all cuts – Australian and Japanese beef, Kobe Wagyu – included on the meaty menu.

If you’re on the lookout for an elegant Indian restaurant from one of the subcontinent’s best-known chefs, Signature is worth a visit. Sanjeev Kapoor is a master of his craft and the style at this stunning Indian restaurant is matched by the substance and the one-pot mains never fail to impress.

Zuma

There’s very little not to love about this incredibly cool Japanese restaurant and bar. The Japanese-inspired menu features all-star dishes like the signature miso black cod and even the simplest things like edamame beans are exceptional. It’s chic, effortlessly cool, and impressive all the way from the décor down to everything on the menu.
