Curated itineraries will keep Expo 2020 Dubai guests on right track

You won’t miss a thing

There’s going to be so much to see, smell, taste and stand-in-amazement-in-front-of at Expo 2020 Dubai.

The greatest show on earth gets underway on Friday October 1, when the eyes of the world will fall on Dubai and global innovators share the stage in a fashion the likes of which has never been seen before.

And with a rather dazzling line-up of permanent exhibitions, immersive installations and representatives from more than 190 countries already confirmed, it seems as if it will be easy to get lost (sometimes literally) in the mammoth 4.38sq km site.

But to make sure the message of the six-month world fair isn’t lost on anyone, chiefs have whipped up a catalogue of guided and self-guided tours to keep guests on the right track.

The self guided journeys will be available through the titular Expo 2020 Mobile App, which will connect users with every spectacle the show has to offer.

Available in half-day, full-day or three-day formats, every visit is covered, whether it be a speed run one afternoon or more considered sojourn over a long weekend.

Sumathi Ramanathan, Vice President, Market Strategy & Sales, Expo 2020 Dubai, said: “Expo 2020 is for explorers, foodies and culture enthusiasts, for children and grandparents, for entrepreneurs, inventors and businesses travellers, for the casual tourist, and for the curious who want to experience the future – now.

“Our easy-to-access itineraries will enable every visitor to discover the game-changing innovations, world-class entertainment and once-in-a-lifetime experiences that are relevant to them, ensuring everyone who walks through our doors has a safe experience that amazes, inspires and excites the senses.”

Here’s how the itineraries break down:

This tour will introduce the world in one place, and include innovations such as the world’s largest radio satellite capable of detecting signals from alien life and a 4D ‘bioprinter’ that can reproduce live cells, as well as world fusion music, choirs and orchestral performances, and cuisines from countries visitors may have never considered before.
