Favourite Café & Coffee Shop

Caffè Nero

A family-run business that’s been pouring a mean cup of coffee since 1997, this global brand is a hit with fans of hot drinks, cold drinks, toasted sandwiches – and those that just need a sit down, white chocolate mocha and a slice of cake after pounding the aisles of the mall. We hear you.

Coffee Hat

This speciality coffee boutique serves up coffee made from single origin beans, roasted in Milan and brewed in the UAE capital. There’s everything from filter to espresso, cappuccino to mocha, latte to aeropress. Plus plenty of teas and soft drinks too.

Costa Coffee

This popular British coffee shop chain is popular when it comes to getting a cuppa and a snack including cheese and tomato toasties, tuna melts, chicken pasta salad and more. And if you’re a vegan you’re in luck, as there’s a special plant-based range of goodies such as vegan breakfast muffins and vegan sausage rolls. Fancy making yourself a coffee as soon as you wake up? You can pick up whole beans, roast and ground coffee and pods to make at home too.

Forever Rose Café

This beautiful café comes from the team behind the long-lasting flowers Forever Rose. It’s also unique as it’s a 2D-style set-up so it looks like you’re dining in a storybook. There’s a large selection of croissants, as well as cupcakes, milk cakes, pastries and pancakes, plus a range of coffees – including the specialities Forever Rose Latte, Forever Lavender Latte and Forever Orchid Latte for when you’re feeling floral.

Godiva Chocolate Café

A globally-loved chocolate brand, the café from this renowned chocolatier is a must-visit for chocolate-lovers. This one’s all about the truffles, chocolate dipped strawberries, chocolate croissants, fondues, pancakes, cheesecakes, waffles, ice creams, brownies and more. Tasty.

Lahen Specialty Coffee

This coffee shop takes coffee seriously and there’s a huge range to sip on. One for people that want to indulge in a tasty hot drink to unwind mid-shopping spree, you can also buy your beans from here too, as well as cups and more.

Magnolia Bakery

This cute café, which hails from New York, is world-famous for its spectacular cupcakes and totally moreish banana pudding. (If you know, you know.) But it’s not just about the sweet treats, Magnolia whips up a mean breakfast too, and it’s a tasty option to check out any time of day or night.

Maison Samira Maatouk

A coffee shop with a rich history, the first Maatouk Maison du Café was opened in 1960 by Mahmoud Maatouk in downtown Beirut. Now, Samira Maatouk has brought the brand to Abu Dhabi and it specialises in top brews. It also serves up sandwiches, breakfasts, snacks, hot dishes and desserts.

Noud Café

This artisan coffee shop has an extensive range of hot and cold drinks, from Spanish lattes to espressos. It’s on the fourth level, just at the entrance to Sky Park, which makes it an attractive option for sipping on your cuppa, too.

Shot Specialty Coffee

A homegrown brand that was set-up by coffee-lovers, Shot Speciality Coffee started out in life as a coffee truck. It became so popular that it has physical coffee shops now, and the one in The Galleria attracts serious coffee drinkers. As well as the regulars there’s everything from red velvet to s’mores coffee, pistachio latte and crème brûlée cappuccino.

Starbucks

Probably the best-known coffee chain globally, this world-famous powerhouse is always a solid choice when it comes to grabbing a coffee and sinking into a comfy sofa. Whether you’re a grande frapuccino or a tall mocha, there’s everything you know and love at Starbucks, plus loads of sandwiches, snacks and cakes (don’t miss the rocky road).

Starbucks Reserve

Coffee aficionado? Starbucks Reserve is all about the complex coffees and elevated surroundings, so if you want a cuppa that’s a cut above, this is the one for you. It prides itself on its beans, stating “everything we do is in the name of coffee”. And if that sounds like you too, well, you’re probably already a regular here.
