Hilton Abu Dhabi, October 31 & November 1: If you have a spare 15,000 euros for a table, crave the celebrity limelight and yearn for something more exclusive than Elton John’s birthday bash, then these are the parties for you. Tickets will be rare – and we’re talking golden ticket to visit Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory rare – but if you’re one of the lucky few to gatecrash the Hilton Abu Dhabi’s exclusive after-hours parties then all power to you. You’ll probably be joining the likes of F1 legends Eddie Irvine, Beyonce and Elton John, all of whom have attended Amber Lounge parties across the world. Given that they’re the end-of-season parties, we expect the tempo to be high, the DJs to be pumping and the VIP tables (served with unlimited Dom Perignon, of course) to be envied.
Time Out says… Hotter than a Mexican fire dancer doing the tango in the belly of a volcano, this is a great place for celeb spotters – although it doesn’t come cheap.

The Chequered Flag Ball
InterContinental, October 29: Totally exclusive and trickier to get into than a size zero dress, this black tie ball is hosted by F1 legends Martin Brundle and David Coulthard, who are set to regale guests with tales of racing glory. But guests cannot live on banter alone, so a five-course meal designed by Chef Jacques Rosse offers respite for those in need of sustenance. After the meal, platinum selling artist Lucie Silvas will be serenading guests alongside Lord Large, a band who have duetted with the likes of Jools Holland, and solo singer Andrea Britton. If music be the food of F1, then consider us stuffed.
Time Out says… Spicier than a jalapeno pepper eating competition in the Empty Quarter, Lucie Silvas fans will bite your hand off for a ticket.

Etoiles on the Corniche
Oct 26-Nov 1: Etoiles and entertainment organisers Flash are hosting a week of star-studded parties on the corniche. Top DJs and performers will entertain and, with all the official Yas Island concert after parties being held there, you can expect to see Beyonce and Aerosmith among others. Plus, it’s hosting the Brawn GP/Virgin end-of-season party (Nov 1), giving Sir Richard Branson the chance to flex his address book of stars.
