Abu Dhabi has important new regulations for entering the emirate that you need to be aware of.
From Monday July 19, anyone arriving in the capital must provide a negative PCR test result taken within 48 hours of arrival, or within 24 hours if providing a negative DPI test result.
Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee has also confirmed that visitors arriving via PCR now have to take a second test on day four of entry (if staying for four days or more), and an additional test on day eight for those staying eight days or more.

Those entering via DPI must take a PCR test on day three of entry if staying 48 hours or more, and an additional PCR test on day seven if in the emirate for more than a week.
The day of arrival in Abu Dhabi is counted as day one. Authorities stated that a DPI test cannot be used to enter Abu Dhabi consecutive times.
Revised procedures apply to all vaccinated and non-vaccinated citizens and residents.
Anyone failing to take the required tests are liable for fines.
Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee has also announced an emirate-wide National Sterilisation Programme to begin on Monday July 19.
Residents and citizens will only be allowed to leave their homes during this time to stock up on essential supplies, namely food and medicine, and only with a special permit which can be applied for via adpolice.gov.ae.
