CLAW BBQ snaps onto the Ras Al Khaimah dining scene

CLAW BBQ is building on its Downtown Dubai popularity with a new Ras Al Khaimah destination that is sure to hook hungry diners.

The claw-some news coming out of the emirate is that the Americana seafood shack is opening up a fresh restaurant at the Hampton by Hilton resort and, it goes without saying, there will be buckets of crab on the menu.

Draped in retro signage and the kind of red and white table clothes that Uncle Sam has all round his State-side manor, dining at CLAW BBQ is an All-American experience.

There are rustic booths, arcade machines and even a mechanical bull for you to conquer (or embarrass yourself).

Getting your claws dirty late into the night? Well, a resident DJ is playing tracks all evening long, so don’t worry about not having some company while you fill your stomach.

Across the walls, as many as 30 screens show all the live games, while outside a mega 2000sq feet wooden deck adjoins the restaurant, meaning sweet views of the neighbouring beach.

As the name suggests, underwater creatures who pack a pinch make up the bulk of the bites.

There’s fresh seafood, huge portions of Southern-fried plates from the turf as well as the surf, and plenty of mighty dies like gooey mac ‘n’ cheese and blazing inferno wings.

If you’re looking for something to satisfy your sweet tooth, treat yourself to an oversized New York cheesecake or CLAW’s ace ‘Big Daddy Cookie’.
