Chart sensation Rihanna will perform in Abu Dhabi in October.
The ‘Diamonds’ singer is the first major star confirmed to play the UAE in the coming winter season – setting the bar high for future talent to come.
The singer will perform at du Arena on Friday October 19. Tickets for the gig go on sale at midday on Thursday May 9.
Rihanna has herself to outdo, after performing a memorable New Year’s Eve gig in the capital in 2009.
With more than 40 million album sales and 150m song downloads, Rihanna is reportedly the top selling digital artist of all time. Meanwhile the critics approve, with six Grammy Awards to her name, while the star’s online presence is unrivalled with 63 million Facebook fans making her the ‘most liked’ person on the social media platform.
