American rock royalty Metallica have sold around 100 million albums but their forthcoming trip to the UAE could see them move even further into the world of fashion, their bassist hinted in an interview with Time Out.
‘My wife is coming this time… She’s into fashion and design, and she has some meetings set up. I’ll be going on some of those, I bet,’ bass player Robert Trujillo said in an interview ahead of the band’s gig at the du Arena in Yas Island on Friday April 19.
Like most bands, there is already a line of Metallica-branded T-shirts, hoodies and shirts on their official website and they teamed up with Californian sneaker manufacturer for a limited edition range, so who knows what could come from their talks in the UAE.
