Discreet lunchtime options for non-Muslims during Ramadan

During the holy month of Ramadan Muslims around the world are expected to abstain from food and drink during daylight hours.

Many non-Muslims in Abu Dhabi choose to fast at the same time in support of Muslim friends and colleagues.

If you are not fasting, however, these restaurants are open during daylight hours this year.

Beach Rotana
Essence will be offering lunch from the à la carte menu from noon-4pm. Alternatively, you can head to Café Columbia for their regular menu from 11am-11pm.

Ingredients will be serving an à al carte menu all day, from 6.30am-2am.
