Enjoy some family fun
Spend some quality time with the family this year at The Family Fun Day at Saadiyat Beach Golf Club. Enjoy a tasty BBQ feast on the lawn with lots of fun-filled activities for the kids including a bouncy castle, face painting, bag decorating, a colouring station, magician and song and dance. Volvo Ocean Race and Coldplay
A specially-designed Destination Village is now built on the Abu Dhabi Corniche Breakwater to host the Volvo Ocean Race yachting fleet, and many fans are expected to descend on the UAE capital when the city welcomes the flotilla this New Year’s Eve. The Destination Village will be open to the public so you will be able to relax by the waterfront or enjoy some other more exciting activites including rides, a 3D cinema and games. Have a bite to eat at one of the cafés or restaurants and then enjoy the fireworks on the Corniche. And! If you’re quick you can probably still snap up tickets for the Coldplay New Year’s Eve concert. The British rock band are coming to Abu Dhabi to play a one-off gig in celebration of the arrival of the Volvo Ocean Race to the capital. They’ll be playing on a waterfront stage adjacent to the Volvo Ocean Race Destination Village and a massive crowd are expected to be there as the clock strikes midnight.

Children’s New Year’s Eve Party
