The Hidden Face

Filmed in both Spain and Colombia, there are two distinct plotlines to this surprisingly engrossing psychological thriller. It’s the tale of a woman who falls in love with a Spanish orchestra conductor who’s suspected of foul play concerning the mysterious disappearance of his former love. With his second full-length credit, director Andrés Baiz has been praised for carefully balancing a jarring second half, and pacing the plot developments with ease.
