Try the Snow Bullet at Ski Dubai
Be among the first to try Ski Dubai’s new zip line attraction. The Snow Bullet is the Middle East’s first ever zip line in sub-zero conditions propelling guests with a head for heights over Ski Dubai for exceptional aerial views of the indoor ski venue. Dhs150 for two runs, or Dhs300 for a power pass that includes full access to the snow park and all activities.

Camel Racing
The camel racing season is in full swing, so be sure to catch this traditional Emirati activity.

Dubai World Cup Carnival
A horse racing event that’s not to be missed – an evening of first class racing from jockeys and horses from all over the world. As much a social event as it is a sporting occasion, The World Cup Carnival is a time to dress to impress. Free, for hospitality packages book online.

International Kite Fiesta
Watch a dazzling array of kites take to the skies for this unique one-day event. There will be entertainment, food and drink and a chance to learn how to make your own kites.

25th International Basketball Championships
The final day of the basketball championship takes place this weekend. Come and support your local teams.

Desert Road Run
This event is for the social and more experienced runner and provides regular runners with a challenge and a chance to check progress. The road runs are held over the year so you always have an opportunity to improve. It includes a 10km race for adults and those above 14 years old, a 3km junior race, ages six to 18, and a 3km fun run, which is untimed.

Emirates Swimming Cup
The first series of the 4th Emirates Cup will take place in Al Wasl Sports Club. The 25 metre race is designed for junior and senior swimmers and will see professional swimmers from all over the world race in Dubai.

Paddleboard yoga
Improve balance, core conditioning and mental poise by practising yoga on a floating paddleboard. Stand-up paddleboard yoga lessons are taught by a professional, qualified yoga instructor and all abilities are welcome.

Tennis Academy
The Dubai Table Tennis Academy is now open, founded by Polish national team player Wiktor Gniewek and offering group and private coaching to players of all ages.

Early bird bike rides at Al Qudra
Join TriDubai’s weekly cycle group to ride on the car-free cycle track at Al Qudra. This group meets at the new car park at the end of Al Qudra Road and is ideal for cyclists who can maintain a minimum of 28kmph in a group.

Play Softball at Duplays
The new softball season has started at Duplays, and the teams are looking for enthusiastic new players. The teams are for men and women for mixed competitive games. Newcomers to the sport are also welcome and should enrol to Division two. There is a pay-to-play rule so preference will be given to teams that have paid in full.
