Festive fun at Ferrari World

World’s largest indoor theme park takes a winter wonderland theme until January 4

Visitors to Abu Dhabi’s Ferrari World in recent weeks might have noticed the park is looking rather to normal different right now.

For the first time, the world’s largest indoor theme park is hosting Winter Fest, with extended opening hours to 10pm every night.

The event, which runs until January 4, features special attractions including performances by Olympic skaters on a purpose-built ice rink. What’s more – visitors can swap their sandals for skates and twist and turn on the ice too.

Other attractions include Ferrari-themed ice sculptures, a 12-metre tall festive tree and a giant Gingerbread House. Younger visitors can also sample crafts activities including a face painting area.

Mike Oswald, general manager of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, said ‘We are delighted to announce our first Winter Fest at the Park. Winter Fest bears all the hallmarks of the traditional Ferrari World Abu Dhabi passion, innovation and celebration.

‘I warmly invite everyone to wrap up in their winter woollies and head over and join us for a special kind of family fun!’
