Graystone screams vanity project all over. We can tolerate a bit of nepotism. Why shouldn’t Sean Stone – who has done little but pop up in a dozen of his father Oliver’s films, and make a few documentary shorts – get a big break on his first feature length film? What’s sad is that he didn’t bother trying to come up with an idea worthy of daddy’s name. Instead it was reportedly round a dinner table with his father, while filming Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, that Sean and fellow extra Alexander Wraith began discussing ghost stories. Shortly afterwards the pair ‘broke into’ an abandoned psychiatric hospital and, in true Blair Witch-style, filmed themselves getting freaked out by the supernatural. Shamefully, they even talked papa into a billed cameo.
