Backstreet Boys first concert in the Middle East is going ahead as planned on Thursday December 17, according to event organisers AEG Live.
Other events, such as Shaggy at Chi and The Proclaimers, have changed their dates in expectation of Thursday being a dry day to celebrate the Islamic New Year in Dubai.
“Backstreet Boys are currently touring the world and will perform to their many fans in Dubai on December 17th. at The Palladium in Dubai Media City – it’s unfortunate that event goers regularily have to deal with uncertainty of whether events will take place or not, perhaps due to last minute call of holidays and associated event restrictions- but as far as we are concerned this event is on and will see Backstreet Boys perform to a capacity crowd when they visit the Middle East for the first time ever-we know that a lot of fans from afar have bought tickets and made travel plans to visit Dubai next weekend and we look forward to seeing them at this great Dubai concert.” says Thomas Ovesen from organisers AEG Live.
